This service is a distinct sub-specialty concerned with the multitude of diseases of lacrimal system, the eyelids and the orbit (the bones and soft tissues surrounding the eyeball). A variety of disorders is treated and spectrum includes medical management and surgical procedures relating to the lacrimal drainage apparatus, plastic surgery involving the eyelids and the periocular region and tumor management of the periocular and orbital tissues.
